About Itaú Cultural

Itaú Cultural is an institute dedicated to the research and production of content as well as mapping, fostering and dissemination of artistic and intellectual expressions. In this way, it contributes to the enhancement of the culture of a society as complex and diverse as Brazil.

By considering culture a key tool to the construction of the country’s identity and an effective means to promote citizenship, Itaú Cultural seeks to democratize and encourage social participation.

A center of cultural reference, for 27 years the institute has been promoting and propagating the Brazilian output – both in and out of the country.

Its programs – such as Rumos – as well as its mission and vision emphasize the institute’s consistent distinctive features that place it among the most important cultural institutions in Brazil.

To inspire and be inspired by the sensitivity and creativity of people to generate transforming experiences in the world of Brazilian art and culture.

Outsourced company provides parking facility, entrance on Rua Leôncio de Carvalho. Prices for Itaú Cultural visitors:  R$ 7.00 (up to three hours) and R$ 2.00 (each additional hour). Parking with valet: R$ 8.00 half hour, R$ 10.00 the first hour, R$ 5.00 the second hour, and R$ 4.00 each additional hour. Utility vehicles: R$ 10.00 the first hour, R$ 4.00 the second hour, and R$ 3.00 each additional hour.

Free parking for bicycles.

Special Access
The Itaú Cultural Building has facilities for people with special physical needs. There is a ramp at the entrance on Avenida Paulista, lifts provide access to all exhibition spaces, there is a space set aside, with its own side entrance, for wheelchairs in the Sala Itaú Cultural and there are special bathroom facilities on the ground floor and first basement.
