Abstract:

Graphic Physics is the conceptual result of my experience as a drawer, etcher and a painter.
It is also the result of the study of the reasons derived from the concentration on the observation, the visual analysis and the comprehension of the image, which has been explained in The Notebooks, by the master Leonardo Da Vinci. Graphic Physics has no pretension of being a theory; rather, it claims to be a contribution to the theoretical aspect of the graphics and plastic art. Generally speaking, it seeks to draw a conceptual parallel between the graphics and the physics taking into account the forces that operate on all the graphic elements.

It has five parts:

Origin of graphics
Conceptual origin, natural origin and anthropologic origin.
Some considerations about the graphic elements.
The problem of the dimension in the shape. Some properties and qualities of the line.
Essay on a hipothetical fourth dimension in graphics
The multiple parallelism of the bidimensional graphic space. The fourth axis. The concept of the fourth spacial dimension. Graphics representations in fourth dimensions.
Physical-graphic concept.
Basic phisic compounds of the graphic elements. The graphic elements in relation to mass and energy concepts.
The problem of movement in the bidimensional image.
Graphic and movement representation. The graphic compound elements in relation to the movement. Induction ways in the graphic image.
