Sociabilidades Subterrâneas

O Itaú Cultural Institute, em parceria com a Representação da Unesco no Brasil, a London School of Economics and Political Science (LSE) e a  Itaú Social Foundation, convida para o Seminário Sociabilidades Subterrâneas: Identidade, Cultura e Resistência em Comunidades Marginalizadas.

O seminário apresentará os resultados da pesquisa que estudou os meios alternativos de integração desenvolvidos por comunidades socialmente vulneráveis, além de analisar a metodologia de trabalho com e para jovens utilizada pelos grupos AfroReggae e Cufa, com o objetivo de sistematizar recomendações para políticas públicas, sociedade civil, setor privado e outros parceiros.

Para expor os dados da pesquisa e apresentar os temas nela abordados, o encontro terá palestras que abordarão questões como respostas comunitárias ao crime e à violência; andaimes psicossociais e travessias de fronteiras na cidade.

As inscrições são gratuitas e sujeitas ao número de vagas.

Underground Sociabilities

Seminar presents results of a study on the youth of Afroreggae and CUFA

Itaú Cultural, in partnership with the UNESCO Representation in Brazil, the London School of Economics and Political Science (LSE) and Fundação Itaú Social, invite you to the Underground Sociabilities Seminar: Identity, culture and resistance in marginalized communities.

This seminar will present the results of a research conducted on alternative means of integration and socialization developed by socially vulnerable communities, in addition to analyzing the methodology of work with and for youth developed by the groups AfroReggae and CUFA, with the purpose of systemizing recommendations for public policy, civil society, the private sector and other partners.

With a view to sharing the study data and presenting the themes it explores, the seminar is composed of talks that will address issues such as community responses to crime and violence, psychosocial scaffolding and border crossings within the city, as well as lessons for public policy, the government, the private sector, NGOs and other partners.
