Renowned internationally, Christa Sommerer and Laurent Mignonneau are multimedia artists, researchers and pioneers of interactive art.

After working, doing research and teaching in the United States and Japan for 10 years, they founded the Cultural Interface Department at the University of Art and Design in Linz, Austria, where they both teach. Sommerer is also a guest professor at the Aalborg University in Denmark and Mignonneau is a visiting professor at Université de Paris 8 in Paris, France. Together, they have created close to 30 interactive works for which they have received various international awards. In addition to having participated in approximately 250 exhibitions around the world, Sommerer and Mignonneau have works of art in many museums and collections. The duo also has four published books.
