The dialogue between art and synthetic biology in this work takes place as a simulation in real time of the programming of biological fibers by means of nanomachines.

The reprogramming of these fibers in the real world, using a biochip, could lead to a cure for Alzheimer’s disease, for example.

How would the interaction between these biomachines and human beings be? Would they still be considered machines? Or as biomanufactured beings-objects, entities that dwell in the ontological abyss between the living and the non-living?
